      Folks
      I have been restoring several mid-fifty Johnson Outboards and I am trying to find an Owners Manual for a 1955 Johnson 5 1/2 HP. does anyone know where I can purchase or download one. These are fantastic engines and parts are still available.

        Ken Cook owns the Copyright for OMC Manuals. Here is a link to his website; he apparently can sell you a CD-12 Owners Manual. Pretty Steep Price though.

          I couldn’t find a ’55 CD Owners Manual but the one for the ’54 CD’s should be the same. I did manage to find the ’55 CD Parts Manual though. Enjoy!

            OK, this isn’t exactly a Johnson, but here is a motor so close that if you take the hood off, it is hard to tell the difference. Good enough for “Owner’s Manual use. And it’s FREE!.

                Hi frandr, I have what I believe is a 1956 5 1/2 horse CD13 and was wondering if the Viking Manuel you suggested to mikekolbus would work as well with the motor I have. Thanks.
