I purchased a 1956 12 hp Sea King last year at Tomahawk.  I got a chance to go through it this summer and ran it a couple of weeks ago.  I’ve been told that the lower seal can be an issue with these motors.  I’ve been on line and found a parts manual, but it does not have any parts numbers.  Can anyone help me out here with a part number and where to get the lower seal?  Thanks, Tom

That is the “Standard” model and does not have the troublesome seal.  Or any lower seal at all.  Not a problem because it uses the old style exhaust housing.

Thank you Frank!  I’ll be back out on the water with that motor in the next week!
