I moved my gas tank to the bow. The gasline is dual (fuel and pressure). I “hard” connected the hose to the tank with clamps. I would like to be able to remove the tank without unscrewing the clamps. Does anyone know of a way to have a “quick release” at the tank, similar to what is at the motor? Any and all help and/or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

You would have to obtain a male/female pair of hose connectors like at the motor end. Attach the female part to the tank with a short piece of hose.

Thanks, FRANKR, I thought that might be the way to go, but I’ve been having a difficult time with coming up with the “right” name to search for the M/F connectors. I can find single line ones, but don’t know the “magic” name or term for the dual line. If I could narrow it down a bit to either the right term/phrase or get the name of a company that sells them that would be most helpful! Thank you!

Part numbers are 375788 and 375587. You won’t believe the prices people are asking. Check EBay or post a want ad right here.

Thanks, LINDY46!! Boy, you’re not kidding! I found a new 375788 for $17.95, but a used 375587 for $71.87. So, with S&H, we’re talking about $100. I sure appreciate the part numbers. Make it SO much easier to search. Thank you again!!!

For $100 you could probably find on a parts motor with tank!

    Prepare to be boarded!
