1956 Wizard Powermatic 12 hp, with Tillotson AJ45B carb.
Float needle is not seating, hence spewing gas out overflow.
This one has a brass fitting with a small rubber, removable
seat in the bottom, which I’m presuming is “hard as rock”,
      and is the culprit.
In looking at Marine Engine, at Merc Mk 25’s carb parts diagram,
(but not sure if that’s correct for the Wizard 12???)
original not available, superceded with 1395-9258 1
This one appears to be a “non brass” seat with no rubber insert,
      and an all steel needle.
I see other’s on Ebay, which I’m not even sure fits, with rubber tipped needles.
Any suggestions what would “fit” and work best for this Wizard?

I dug through some old carb parts, and found a rubber
          seat from a 1960 Scott 7.5.
It’s nice that Tillotson did that for me!
Any idea if those little rubber seats are still available new
somewhere? I don’t want to bother with any 40 year old NOS ones.

Any chance the high speed needle is completely closed?

Nope, after I put the other rubber seat in, all was
well, and it required very little tuning with the
                HS needle.
