Quick question guys,
Just arrived at the cottage and the tilt-lock release mechanism disconnected itself. Anyone have a photo of how that is supposed to be assembled?
Thanks,
Steve.

I think what you are showing me is the tilt mechanism for setting the running angle? If that makes sense. The one I am looking for is the one for the lever on the front of the motor that allows you to tilt the motor up when done for the night.
Thanks,
Steve.
July 28, 2024 at 5:32 pm #289504I hear ya. I don’t have any pictures but perhaps if you posted a few pictures of what you have got, we can see what needs to be connected and where…
July 29, 2024 at 7:49 am #289515Thanks guys, I did figure it out. The parts diagram I had showed all the parts, just not how it all went together.
The other issue I am having is that it wont throttle up under load. Might just be weeds around the prop, or carburetor adjustments, but is there something common I should be looking at also?
Other than that, the motor runs like a dream. Throttles down to where I can count the rpm. Eventually will lean sneeze, so I might have a small leak in the pressure tank, but not enough to cause issues. I have less than an hour running the thing, so still figuring it out.

Steve – sorry. guess I didn’t read your original post closely enough, but glad you were able to get it fixed.
