      Quick question guys,

Just arrived at the cottage and the tilt-lock release mechanism disconnected itself.  Anyone have a photo of how that is supposed to be assembled?

      Thanks,

      Steve.

Here’s one off my ’58 10hp.  I think yours will be similar.

Thanks Bob for the pic.  I think what you are showing me is the tilt mechanism for setting the running angle?  If that makes sense.  The one I am looking for is the one for the lever on the front of the motor that allows you to tilt the motor up when done for the night.

          Thanks,

          Steve.

I hear ya.  I don’t have any pictures but perhaps if you posted a few pictures of what you have got, we can see what needs to be connected and where…

Thanks guys, I did figure it out.  The parts diagram I had showed all the parts, just not how it all went together.

The other issue I am having is that it wont throttle up under load.  Might just be weeds around the prop, or carburetor adjustments, but is there something common I should be looking at also?

Other than that, the  motor runs like a dream.  Throttles down to where I can count the rpm.  Eventually will lean sneeze, so I might have a small leak in the pressure tank, but not enough to cause issues.  I have less than an hour running the thing, so still figuring it out.

              Steve.

Steve – sorry. guess I didn’t read your original post closely enough, but glad you were able to get it fixed.
