I purchased the above motor Model #35514  Serial # 17544 and it is missing some parts on the pull start assembly. Where can I purchase parts for this Make and Model. Is there anyone in South East Michigan who maybe interested in servicing this motor, if I am not successful. This motor has not been in the water for over 50 years . I motor is mounted on an 1955 runabout made by the Molded fiberglass Company. Thanks for your assistance. I just joined this club.

I am not in your area but when I was in need of parts for my Johnson k50 I came across a website called PicClick, it is a search engine to help you search through eBay (and if there is an amazon leak) faster, I have been pretty successful with it in my search for parts on there.

I did a quick search for a 35hp Evinrude from 1958 and one popped up.

Another place I use is American Outboard Motors, you can call them and if they have one, they can send it to you if you want it.

You would be amazed at how many parts for these engines are still available.  I would check with marineengine.com

Go look on eBay. Type in Evinrude Lark. Also do your research on the parts you need part numbers. Many Johnson and Evinrudes share the same parts. I would pick up or download  a original parts catalog for your exact engine. Again look on eBay for that too. The parts catalog will help you to familiarize yourself with your engine.
