Looking for some insight on proper removal of the engine block so I can swap it over. Any help would be appreciated. I’m seeing nuts that I’m unsure of how to get to. Without complete disassembly of the midsection.

Not as bad as it looks.  Remove lower rear motor cover (pan) and rear exhaust housing cover as one piece.  Remove front lower motor cover (pan).  You will have to remove the shift lever, and some wires and other do-dads.  The bolts and nuts holding the powerhead are now accessible.
