      Hello, i am working on re-sealing the gearcase on a 1958 35hp. Part 36 in the attached diagram – it shows the tabs as horizontal. However if I arrange them this way the case can’t seal. If I turn the tabs veeicall it can seal all the way. Which way is correct?

        Put them the way they fit (vertical)
