      Have a Evinrude Starflie (1960) mag ignition which has timing mark on pulley but no apparent corresponding mark on motor that I can find . Shop manual has no clear indication other than ” safety switch ” which is shown located on opposite side of mag housing from mine . Anyone had this issue ? If so please share your solution .

        Yeah, the safety switch was moved for 1961. Use these instructions for your 1960

          Howdy back ……… thanks for the info and quick response ! I’m a measure twice cut once guy and your answer and attached bulletin proved out what I assumed to be the case . Thanks again !
