1960 Sea King 5 hp motor parts

      I got two GG8822A motors at Tomahawk, to make one good one.
      I’ve determined that this Sea King is the Gale equivalent of model 5D17B.

      I find nothing in my library with Gale parts numbers.
      How do I determine for sure what OMC impeller, etc., fits this motor?

      Anyone have parts books, or an online source to determine needed parts?

          Phil, Thanks for the reminder about these sources. I forgot
          all about the “Viking” angle. I had some manuals already
          from both sources, but there now appears to be more than
          what I remember there.

          It looks like my 57 and the 1960’s Sea King 5 hp use the
          same impeller……. I like that!

            Buc I have a pretty nice ’57 12hp Seaking that would look nice setting on the rack with your 5hp. Kinda of a big brother little brother thing! You need it?

              It’s too soon after Tomahawk to adopt any more kids…….
