      I have three Lightwins, 1955, 1956, and 1959 models. All of them have the sparkplug wires running along the port side of the motor. The 1961 model in Tubs’ picture shows the sparkplug wires running along the starboard side of the motor. In what year was that change made, 1960 or 1961?

        I have a 1960 but wont to be able to check
        it till June. Had a 1962 that had the spark plug
        wires running along the starboard side.

          Just remembered I have the owners manual for
          that motor. In the picture it seems the plug wires
          are on the starboard side.

            It looks like the change in the sparkplug wires from the port side to the starboard side was made in 1960. Thanks Tubs.
