1963 merc 1000s 100hp

I have just installed a rebuilt Delco Remy starter on this motor, the engine will not start. I checked every other possibility to be sure all components were operating accordingly.
points, condensers, coils, sparks plugs, also checked to ensure there was a spark, correct fuel mixture. new flywheel, magneto I virtually replaced every electrical component
for this engine. Ran well for a time with the old starter but that seized up and have replaced as I mentioned earlier with a rebuilt starter. turn over engine cranks and cranks and I’m careful not to overwork the starter she refuses to start. The question, could I have rewired it incorrectly ? took pics before dismantling old starter. but I must confess maybe I wired something incorrectly.
Also, volt checked all pertinent components all read well.

Stuck in no start any advice.
