Yes Bill, I believe you are correct….Marineengine.com was no help, they referred me to a breakdown for a standard 9.9…. I wish I had an OMC listing for water pump kits but don’t…Will call marineengine….D
This engine is a conglomeration of old and new….New style 9.9-15 powerhead bolted to an old style 10hp style midsection/gearcase with some sort of an adapter to mate the new style powerhead to the old style midsection. The question is what diameter driveshaft was used….Will continue to investigate….DJune 23, 2021 at 3:06 pm #241053OK, just spoke to marineengine by phone…They don’t even have a parts list for this engine…They did have a good idea though, perhaps there is a part number stamped into the plastic impeller housing….Part number 323596 is the part number used on the older 5.5-7.5s when updated to the new style pump that Mumbles has listed… So, if 323596 is stamped into your plastic impeller housing, then the part number Mumbles has posted is the correct kit for this engine….
I sure want to be wrong, but I think your driveshaft is wider than what is used on this kit…I will find the right stuff someone must have a parts book for this thing….June 23, 2021 at 3:15 pm #241055OK, look what I found on ebay:

Ships from across the pond, but worth the investment…Perhaps he would make a copy of the gearcase page and email it to you if you buy the manual from him…This way you will have the correct info quickly before waiting for the shipping process….DonJune 23, 2021 at 3:17 pm #241056Here is another auction:

DJune 23, 2021 at 5:42 pm #241075I think what you need, to pump water are a gasket and impeller. The gasket should be 324901. The impeller, I suspect is the same as a 9.9/15, which is 386084. If you need a cup, that’s a little more speculative but it is probably also a 9.9/15, which is 324091. Pics below, I hope….First is the 6 hp impeller next to the 9.9/15 impeller. Same outside dimensions. Second picture is of the 9.9/15 impeller in the same housing the OP has. The 9.9/15 has a half inch shaft. My bet is that it is the same as this Worktwin.

June 24, 2021 at 12:54 am #241096I think billw is on the right track as I measured some shafts and liners today and here’s what I got.
Shafts
5.5 – 6………………0.428″
60’s ten horse…..0.550
9.9/15……………..0.500
’59 18 horse…….0.500Liners
77-79 six horse…….1.316 wide by .695 deep
9.9/15…………………1.316 wide by .695 deepAll measurements are plus/minus.
June 24, 2021 at 1:28 am #241099There’s a couple of the 389732 housings listed on The Bay. Just have to find the matching liner and impeller now.

June 24, 2021 at 2:09 am #241104I found some water pump kits for 6 and 9 horse commercial motors which are shown on another site to also fit the 14 horse Workhorse/Worktwin motors. Nothing mentioned about the 12 horse. Part numbers for the kit are 391389 and 389796. Photos show the same 389732 housing and the liner is 324097, impeller 389623, wear plate 323597, pump housing gasket 324901, grommet 302497, screws 324982, washers 324956, and drive pin 300611.
I’m thinking 389623 might be a good part number for the impeller you need.

June 24, 2021 at 5:17 am #241110Thanks guys. I think we are on the right track here! My pump housing has 389732 stamped on it. I measured the drive shaft and its diameter is approximately 14mm (0.55 inches). So I’m thinking impeller part 389623 is going to be the go!
Cheers
June 24, 2021 at 5:44 am #241111Wow, nice find on the parts diagram! I am surprised OMC has two shafts that are only .05 different but I am frequently surprised. (Now, if Mercury had done that, I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest.) Marine engine has just two of the impellers but they are very inexpensive.
