      I think the 2 hp. weighs about 24 pounds–that’s the real attraction for me.

          I’d guess have it like a 15″ transom, so it pumps good and gives you good push

            1982 Evinrude brocure says 24 lbs.

            If you have too many, AND not enough, you're a collector.

              Just weighed mine, and it does weigh 24 lbs.

                i guess ill throw my 2 cents in.i have a couple 3hp motors from 60’s .brought to my friends place and put it on his boat.he was amazed at how smooth it ran compared to his yamaha 4hp and nissan 2.5hp.both 1 cylinder engines. not sure how those 2 hp motors run but i agree with others. older 3hp is defintely worth considering

                  A "Boat House Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
