I have an Johnson javelin motor that has a male 3 prong gas connector and all of my connectors are only a female 2 prong. Can you still purchase or find a 3 prong connector or what are my options?

Many of these are available from various members. Even and old one with leaky o rings can be rebuilt. I do not have any extra at this time. Swap meets and member events typically have some available. I am unaware of a new source

Another option is to add a fuel pump and then you can use the commonly available, single hose connector and tank. There have been a lot of posts here about how to put on a fuel pump. The Javelins were made in 1956 and 57. The dual hose pressure-tank was phased out, depending on the model, beginning in 1958, with all of them converted by 1961.

So do you have a pressure tank to go with that dual hose connector you are asking for?

Yes I do. I just need the one connector, but I believe I found one on Craigslist. I have purchased it with hope it will work with my motor.

Another Question: Is it possible to fix a bent control wire that goes from my throttle back to the motor?
