While installing a kit in a carb from a ’58 Big Twin, I noticed the bleeder hole in the main nozzle had been soldered closed and another smaller hole had been drilled above it. The larger hole with the bevel, which I’m sure is the original one, had solder over it. A drill bit with a .051" shank will pass thru it while the smaller one accepts a .042" drill. Any ideas?

I actually just finished up doing a ’58 Johnson 35hp myself today. Cannot recall now about the tube, and it was only a few hours ago!

          Yeah, it’s called C. R. S. 😀

I just soldered up the new, modified hole and Bob’s your uncle!
