      Do any of you have a wiring diagram that shows what the terminals on the engine end of the red plug control. It is a 1991 with a primer. I am having a heck of a time finding the diagram. From the looks of things I will have an even worse time finding the control box side of the plug. But as the line goes in the poem Casey At The Bat, “hope springs eternal in the human breast”. I haven’t given up yet. Any help would certainly be appreciated. Hope all of you are staying safe.

        OK, will look for the wiring diagram… Finding a control box with wiring should be easy, it is the standard control box with the big red plug… You can also use a two lever box with separate wiring harness… Perhaps I have misunderstood what you are looking for…D

          The red plug should fit, but the little 9.9 doesnt have all the pins, so I wanted to see if anone had the wiring diagram. However, if the color codes are the same for big and small engines, I can figure it out. Still, if anyone has a box side plug off a 9.9 or 15 1989 – 94 years should work,
          let me know.

            OK, here is your wiring diagram. The only lead that is missing from the red plug on your engine is the purple lead that is swtiched B+ that would power a regulator, which your engine does not have…
