It appears that over the life of my little outboard, the previous owners took great liberties with different fuel fittings and fuel lines. When I obtained the motor, it had rubber hose clamped to the valve and carb fitting. At this point I cannot even figure out what fittings and line may be correct.
So I am not sure where to begin to make it all correct.
Is the fuel line (p/n 375269) 3/16″ with a standard compression fitting on each end or is it 1/4″ with compression fittings on each end?
The elbow (27-88) at the carburetor on my motor has different sizes and threads – and they are buggered up – on it’s two sides. It seems as though every thread and every connector is a different size from the one it is supposed to mate to. I can’t even tell which threads have been “modified” by forcing ill fitting fittings to stop leaks. Help!

      Thanks,
      Drifter
