A-45 South Bend Torque Specifications

Ordered new rings for the A-45 and should have them soon.

Searching for crankcase, connecting rod & cylinder head torque specification.

Information in the Fifth Edition service manual for the power head didn’t list the “A” opposed twins.

I’ve never seen any published torque specs for 1920s Johnsons.You can assume any spec given for later motors will apply to same size and material screw or bolt in an older one.When in doubt I use a chart that gives torque specs by screw/bolt size depending on material.
