adhesive 3M 847 70$ tube ????

I will be refurbishing a water pump and the recommended  OEM adhesive to hold stuff together is 3M 847.

on Amazon  at a ridicoulous 70$   a tube (small)  it won’t be my choice …anything else at a decent cost   can be used to glue down/seal   an impeller  / housing parts

A google search shows a number of outlets where you can order a 5 ounce tube of 847 for around $22.   As an alternative, I have used Permatex Aviation Sealer #3 on water pump rebuilds with no problems.
