So, I’ve got this Airguide brand Marine Barometer that came with my boat and I need to take it apart to clean and restore as much of it as possible.
I’m not sure how to separate the top and bottom portion. I have tried twisting to try and unscrew it with no success. I’m hesitant to try and pry the top off of it.
      Anyone have any insight?

No idea on how is comes apart, but at least it’s a “fair day”

It’s friction fit, but with pitting might be a little challenging. If you can slightly heat that ring might help. If you break the glass, it can usually be found at a clock shop.

Cool,.. find. I had never seen the barometer. Many other Airguide instruments, speedo, clock, tach but not a barometer
