      Hello to all;
      I’d love a bit of help figuring out which airguide tach I can use with a 4 cylinder, battery ignition ’67 80hp OMC.

      Looks like I can use the 654 model. I’m not sure how to read the chart, but it looks like I might be able to use the 655, 656, or 665 models. Any clarification will be appreciated.

      And, could I use a tach which is for a 12V battery ignition, 4 cycle, 8 cylinder?? One of the airguide boxes seems to think so, and I included a pic. Does this math work out? A 2 stroke fires every revolution of the crank, and a 4 stroke fires every two revs?? (Feel free to point and laugh; I’m no engineer).

      Many thanks and happy motoring;
      Alan
      PS, I could also use advice on how to delete an attachment; “Edit” didn’t seem to allow that. Thanks!
