Had to post this unusual trailer….first time Ive seen one like this!
In fact, havent seen a boat like this either. Is that a rudder at the front of the keel?
What initially caught my eye was the old fat 50…?
August 19, 2018 at 1:55 am #81432Looks to me like someone cobbled in the 2nd axle with the smaller tires to cut down on tongue weight – I wonder if that 2nd axle is a temporary thing, like the folding jack-wheel commonly added to the trailer tongue for pushing it around when it’s not being towed?
The boat looks like an early, poorly designed, tri-hull. In my area there are lots of "free" old tri-hulls advertised. One neighbor had two he couldn’t get rid of, so he cut them up with a chain saw and fed them into this trash can over a period of a few months.

and you’d have a duck boat for parades!Prepare to be boarded!

DaveAugust 19, 2018 at 6:23 pm #81459I wonder how long that 1959 50 HP gas hog has been sitting out with the carburetor exposed? The Motorola alternator will easily put out 35 Amps, but the outrageously expensive regulator was wiped out by hooking up the battery backwards. It hasn’t been available for 50 years . . . 🙄
