Anyone have a link to a good vintage Aluminum boat forum, or repair web site?
I’d like to get some tips on my newly acquired 1958 AL-103 Alumacraft……..
      such as……
cleaning / polishing up the aluminum
what rivets, where to purchase, etc.
replacing the floatation foam in the sea
rebuilding the seats using redwood, or other?

      Thanks, Buccaneer

You’ll find many club members are also on fiberglassics and plenty of help there. Another great source is Iboats, in the restoration forums. Lots of us "tinnys" on there as well. They have a StarCraft group of witch I am a member called the "Starmada". It’s all tin restos, all the time. If you have any questions Buc, shoot me a PM. I have restored quite a few tin boats in my time, from 12′ row boats to my 22′ Islander.

Thanks Wannabe for the forum tips and offer to help!
I’ll check out the sites and try to formulate a plan of attack!
