      The horizontal crankshaft also doesn’t look like a good idea. Extra gearing to get the torque to the prop makes for inefficiency.

              Found this at the Sportsman Show in Syracuse NY.  New in the market, Freedom Outboards Mud/Weed motor. The prop is heavy and looks like it belongs in a chipper shredder. Has a closed loop cooling system. Made in America, However, the power heads are Tohatsu. Nice motor for the application.
