Possible project next winter 😕 Need to choose which way to go. Have read many posts about them and I am trending toward the m70114 kawi or JDear. I do not want to do a complete flywheel-plate-cdi changeout.

Any thoughts? Will be on a 9.9/15 omc.

I am capable of making a couple if I need to but…

I know Atom is no longer but I might find a couple used..

The link brings up an empty page. Someone buy them all?

Checked it yesterday after it was posted and again just now. I’m getting old and my memory isn’t what it used to be but I’m pretty sure the price jumped by $10 per unit.

As long as were on the subject of "modules" to replace points and condenser…..
I was wondering as I was helping my uncle on his JD lawnmower with the
Kawasaki engine and little igniter module, if this type of external module
would work on an outboard magneto, using the original outboard coils?

Thanks Dave. Now I see it.

I thought the last ones I bought from Banta Saw were pricey at $25 each but these ones convert to $94.36 Cdn at today’s rate!

Buck: Yes, these are the red Atoms which are for outboard motors with adjustable timing. Fixed timing outboards, chainsaws, lawn mowers, Briggs engines etc use different color coded modules depending on the application.

Nothing wrong with your eyesight or your memory.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
