      Ya, have been reading yours and others posts about the whole issue. I’ve made equivalent components and the thought of making a couple is interesting to me but..if its been done whats the point..

      \Now I have a question…why not use this simple system on all motors instead of using a separate pulse or trigger coil? I see most larger modern engines using the trigger coil setup so..

        Ignition systems that use a trigger coil are CDI systems, totally different to point systems. Quite a lot of 2stroke engines have used the pointless ignition system with there own module, similar to the Atom module

          I have several sets of Atom Modules here which I might never use.

          Should I auction them off on Greedybay to help bump up my pension plan? 😀
