Not having much to do I tested some spare chineese pumps with the usual blow test in —-> out out < —–.in
it leaked air badly on the “out….to in” test I had air coming out the mounting holes !!! It also had air coming out with the OUT port blocked off
took the silly thing apart 10-15 times every reassembly produce the same ( no it was not stupidity….. it was dedication to finding the problem)
I even compared and swapped parts from a good pump to no avail
problem remains a complete mystery …. it now sits in the left pile…
I’ll try some other time…. ETEC 75hp gearcase sitting in the basement confined by the bug New to me MQ 9.5 hp (free one !!) also quarantined 🙁 my TV has started talking back to me.
my country neighbors do not want me around… can’t cut my grass….. even the public boat launch is closed so the fish will come from the grocery store but I don’t have to clean it 🙂
