I hate to put this up here, but I am getting nowhere fast. I have an unused (still sealed) watchdog sump backup battery 24EP6. It was free. I can’t find any good info. No amp/hr rating I can find. could it be used with a minkota 30# motor? Can anyone tell me where else to look?

We don’t have basements here in Florida and we have pit bulls for watchdogs, so I had no idea what you were talking about. So I Googled it. Not hard to find the info you are looking for. I see no reason it can’t be used for your Minkota. https://www.amazon.com/Glentronics-Base … t+watchdog

          This grainger page:
          https://www.grainger.com/product/BASEME … tery-4RC47

For that part number says it’s a "deep cycle" battery (as opposed to a starting battery, right)?
And says it has a reserve capacity of 90 min.

          This page:
          https://www.pacificpowerbatteries.com/a … cfaq4.html

          says:
To convert Reserve Capacity (RC) to Ampere-Hours at the 25 amp rate, multiple RC by .4167

          So 90 x 0.4167 gives 37.5 Amp hours??

Those low draw batteries have smaller internal buss wires. If run in a high current application they can overheat, sag and short out possibly exploding. . . 🙄
