No that is Gary’s engine in Mankato, MN. I bought a Sea King from him a couple of weeks ago. Still trying to find a way home for it. He has some good looking stuff.

I’ve never heard of an external rotory valve Johnson.
Can someone explain how they work?

There was a whole article on them in one of the 2014 Antique Outboarder editions. I’ll see if I can find it.

Well, I’m thinking that article was in the October 2014 edition, as that is the only one that I can’t lay my hands on right now!!!! Looks like I have a quest for the rest of the day!
