I’ve been meaning to buy the tool that Richard White makes for quite some time now. However, I had made my own from a scrap piece of wood prior to discovering Richard’s tool. At some point, I will order one of his. Here are some photos of mine if you need to make one in a pinch. Keep in mind, the wood won’t last forever. I would suggest using oak rather than SPF.
