      YOU COULD EVEN UP A LITTLE AND GO FOR A MARK 30

      I agree with Super Dave! Get a manual start mk30. Easier to rope over than ANY big twin, guaranteed. Way more power than any big twin too.

        I have a 1956 Evinrude Lark 30 hp with a customized paint scheme on my ’58 Swift.  Scoots right along!

        I think it looks great and parts are available for repair.  I would contact a chapter of the Antique Outboard Motor Club in your area for leads on motors.

          mas NICE!  outfit there!    Many positives about OMC products.  Good gear cases smooth, quiet running.  A little care and it will last another life time.   I love the red highlights on your motor.  Evinrude did that on there later motors.
