Sorry to hear that. I just bought a couple of the no name mikuni’s also for $11. Have not installed them yet. I have used the black plastic B&S pumps, they work good. I thought the mikuni’s would fit a smaller dia. fuel line.

I’d be willing to bet they don’t work. I’ve got 6 of them that don’t and they came from 2 different venders. I put clear plastic fuel lines on the motor so I could see what was going on and at times the fuel was flowing backwards. You could tell by air bubbles in the fuel line. If they work, your luck is better than mine. When you first start the motor and open it up, it will appear to run fine, but when the fuel in the carburetor bowl and the fuel lines run out it will die, so if you try them out, run your motor at wide open throttle for a while. Also the pumps seem to work ok at slow speeds but at wide open throttle they fail. I spent 4 days trying to chase down the problem because I couldn’t believe I had 6 bad brand new pumps. Took off intake manifold and cleaned drain valve and reed plate and reed valves, went through the carburetor twice, put on new fuel lines and fittings, rechecked the magneto, changed out the fuel filter, and changed the plug where the original pressure valves were. After each new thing was done to motor I would take it to the river and try it out. I must have made 8 or 9 trips, burning a tank of gas in my truck. Finally took the pump off my John Deere lawn mower and it worked like a new motor. I threw all 6 new pumps in the trash. It was an expensive lesson.

        "Expensive lesson"

        Know the feeling 🙁 .

I bought a bunch of NOVAII ignition modules thinking they would work like the red Atom ignition modules. WRONG. They work great for a few minutes to maybe an hour before giving up. Mumbles bought some on my recommendation too…Sorry Mumbles. 😳

Thanks for the caveat hdted ❗

Wedgie, you could always resale them back on eBay, but list them for lawn mowers and such. Good way to get some of your money back.

Yeah, that was an expensive learning curve and a waste of time. They couldn’t handle the OMC magnetos even though they were advertised for outboards to.

The seller said I could return them but it’s been a few years now. Out of the dozen or so I bought, I did keep one new one, just in case.
