      Strangely ive got some plastic npt threaded plugs in my sunbird and im missing one. Currently i just got a plastic plug from lowes plumbing section to cap the starboard side hole and use my one plug i do have on the port side hole.

      Plugs i can find for sale online are smaller coarse threaded untapered ones. See attached pic. I need the larger fine thread (npt) tapered style. Anyone know a source?

        The Garboard plug on the bottom appears to have a tapered pipe thread on it so any marine dealer or plumbing supply should be able to help you out. For my tin boat, I use a slotted plastic one with an O ring on it and it was branded Sea Dog.
