        Well gang, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the Perfect Seal sealer according to all of the Mercury/Mercruiser websites I went to is also discontinued.
        If anyone has an extra can they would like to sell let me know.

          Will the perfect seal work on a exhaust housing gasket for the 7.5 omc or is the 3m scotch weld 847 ok to use Thanks Russ…

          Perfect Seal is fine for this application.

            You might want to consider using two of the exhaust gaskets for this engine, one of either side of the baffle plate….Don’t know why OMC didn’t build em this way, probably saving a few pennies…

              Thank you very much. Think I will use two gaskets this time do not want to take this apart again. Called local Merc dealer no Perfect Seal so am going to use scotch weld. Thanks all stay safe. Russ….
