      It looks like this board is getting its share of irrelevant posts but there is something you can do about it.

      First, open the post (DON’T click on any of the hotlinks in it) and click on the little box in the top right corner. This will allow you to report it. No, I don’t know where the report goes.

      Secondly, click on the posters name. This will allow you to add the sender to your friends or foe list. The choice is yours.

      It’s not much but every little bit may help.

          when someone has this already done, then you get;
          "This post has already been reported"
          so it don’t help so much.
          And…………up to now, it has provided no effect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
          who pulls the plug out ???

            These are automated ‘bots’ which spam these forums. I used to have to deal with this on forums I was an administrator for which ran this same software. Unfortunately phpBB (forum software) has some vulnerabilities for this type of spamware. As they update the forum software, it screens this stuff out, but it will just be part of using these new boards.

            They are not actual people posting spam, they are automated programs. Just ignore it.

                Simmer down… the posts have been removed. I will be working on getting the security settings tied down to help prevent this kind of thing from happening.
