I am building a buzz box to run my ’22 Evinrude rbm that has a dead coil. These are the coils I bought. Would someone please post a wiring schematic and suggestions on a battery.

Frequently the condenser is at issue, How did you check the coil?

An article on using Model T coils for hit and miss engines here……
            https://www.smokstak.com/articles/buzz_coil.html

They use to sell wire clips you could solder on the Model T coil
buttons, then attach your wiring to those, instead of soldering
the wire directly. Seems like they were call Farenholz clips or something
            similar.

Phil, Yes, those are the clips.
At least I got the first letter correct!

I just soldered some brass screws on mine.
This is the battery I use. They are cheap,
seem to last a long time, and are sealed.
Some searching may find them even
                  cheaper.

There is tons of info on these coils on Model T sites. How to set up and adjust the vibrating contacts and so on.
