Hello, I’m a little out of my comfort zone with this Liberty but I’ve got two so i’m going to try to make one nice one. i need a magneto and a tiller grip. does anyone know where i can find one. also any information at all would be great. I’ve got two singles. one of them has on open flywheel and needs the mag the other has the closed flywheel but its missing the coil. I’m wanting to build the open flywheel because it looks better. any idea of the year or how to tell these things apart from one another. thanks in advance

Pictures will be most helpful, year would be best guess as the company did not keep great records, but with what is known it can be pretty close. Now for the mags, good luck, some were battery ignition, so photos of that area will be most helpful. If you need a mag, you may be looking for a while..Serial number is stamped on the transom bracket if memory serves.
