I just bought a 1959 Evinrude Fast Twin 18 HP ( $100.00) and it came with an original cast iron motor stand. Seems to be in perfect original condition but no name on it. May have been blue at one time was painted gray. Very greasy from years of fuel drips.
What is it worth. It seems to be a late 1950s Evinrude style but I’ve seen the same one claiming to be from the 1930s .
Has four legs with the rear two forming a cast iron triangular pan.
Total of 3 pieces ( base, vertical arm and head)with Oak (?) pad attached on one side on top by one screw. Others I see have 2 screws.
Sorry can’t upload a photoWhat is it ans whats the value. Perfect with no repairs.
Also as a proud papa I got a 1965 Light Twin 3hp in near showroom original condition for $80.00 . Never seen one so clean.

Mine looks exactly like the Evinrude stands but without the name cast into the head.if your software or camera won’t " upload" just pull the memory card from the camera and insert it in the memory card slot on your PC …
your PC should then show the new storage device added in and you can use your FILE EXPLORER to copy paste those pictures onto your main drive PICTURES file

December 20, 2017 at 3:56 am #68802YOU ARE ASSUMING MY OLD COMPUTER HAS A SLOT FOR THAT.
IT DOES NOTDecember 20, 2017 at 4:19 am #68803Very nice response and thanks for the photos.
But I’m trying to figure out if it’s just a neat old stand or a valued collector item.
Keep the patina or blast and paint?
Thanks. -
