CD-13 Parts Catalog Source

Trying to recruit a new aomci member and he is needing a 56 Johnson 5.5hp parts book for his first outboard. Might someone have a PDF or a source?

You can usually find original parts manuals on eBay fairly cheap. I get a lot of mine there.

I don’t have the ’56 CD parts book but I do have the ’57 CD-14 parts book. The two motors are almost identical so it should work for him.

If you really want a ’56 version, I do believe I have the ’56 Evinrude Fisherman parts book. It’s the same motor as the Johnson CD-13 except for the hood.

I don’t have an Owner’s Manual for the 5-1/2 but here’s one for a 7-1/2 HP. Except for the specifications, the general information is basically the same.

Thanks guys. I sold this gentleman a 58 Brooklure 5hp and next thing ya know he buys a CD-13 and he’s excited to work on it this winter. He needed a face plate and I did not have a Johnson parts catalog for his 56. I’m demonstrating to him why this club is important and valuable to him in his new found interest.
