Im getting 90 psi on both cylinders on my 56 johnson 5.5hp. I know its good that they are matched, but where in an old outboards lifespan is 90psi?
Just a kid in the lifespan
90 on a CD is great in my opinion!
good news!
Let me know if you want to trade!
Go fishin’ brother. Have fun with that little gem. 🙂
90 is great should be fine for a long time. I have one that still starts on the first pull and does good at 65

how is it motors multiply when the garage lights get turned off?
How about for a 51 Johnson 25hp RD-11? I’m going to look at it tomorrow and will be doing a compression check. What is a good range?
