      After reading the posts about the Chinese ignition coils over on Dockside Chat, I wonder how the CDI coils are? Anybody ever tried using their universal magneto coil for OMC? I may order a couple and give em a try. http://www.boatersland.com/cdi183-4477. … Lw_wcBtry..

        I have had very bad luck with them. But it’s getting to the point now that all coils for OMC are made in China
        I just picked up 4 BRP coils and they are now made in China also. I have also found that BRP power packs are now being made by CDI, 5 junk new ones this summer right out of the box.

          Hi Ben thanks for the reply! I kinda wondered if that was the case. I’ve had some trouble with their power packs as well,
          and ended up buying some new old stock OMC packs off EBay! We didn’t know how good we had it back years ago when good parts were available.
