      Hi all,I have a Evinrude Lighttwin model 442 and I`m looking for spark plugs.It has Champion 6-M in it now.Dont know if those are the correct ones or not.The parts catalog says it is part # 190724 but no description other than spark plug(priced at .65). Any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanx.

        6M would be right for that model. You can use a D9 as a modern substitute. 6M’s can still be found at club meets or on Feebay. If the old plugs are not broken, re-use them. Cleaned properly and gapped at the spec’d size, they are as good as anything else, and the stock plug from the factory to boot.

          There`s a set of three on ebay now but $49 plus shipping is a little too rich for me. One of these has the threads messed up where the wire connects is why I was looking for replacements.
