I recently unboxed a pair of J6C’s and noticed on one of them the ‘hot’ electrode was off center and the ground electrode was shorter to compensate. I looked though my can of used plugs and found another. The motor ran fine with it but, I’m just curious if this is common. I would think Champion’s inspection system wouldn’t allow this to make it to the consumer as some people might return them thinking they are defective without trying them. Any thoughts?
