I believe they came in both a 15" and 20" transom length. The lower unit on the bottom right is the racing gear foot. This was the start when of all manufactures got into racing in the later part of the 1960’s. later on they made a just for racing model with open megaphone exhaust of 150 hp. It was also available and fit the three cylinder models.
That would be the one I mentioned. There is a fellow that runs the APBA vintage circuit with his original tunnel boat with the original 150. A site and sound you have to appreciate.
Thanks. I’m looking for someone who can go with a tape measure and give me some specific specific dimensions that I can list. Also looking for general pictures of multiple angles. I’m working on a 1/9 scale model and need the dimensions to help scale down. Thanks!!!
On the way over to my Dad’s sits an old Chrysler motor on a flat bottom ski boat. I will stop & ask if you tell me what to measure. Send me an e mail at jeff.50@cox.net.. I will help you in any way I can except buying it. No more my wife says. You see I just bought a Mark 50 in wonderful original condition.Even the mag turns nice.
Let me know.
Gee……. That Chrysler with the pipes looks familiar, was that motor on display at Tomahawk this past summer?
If not there was one very similar. Pretty hot looking motor.
