I have a good coil here with a hairline crack . Should I try to seal it or should I toss it .

I have found once they are cracked, moisture has already gotten in and done its thing.

I used to try to reseal them. Until motors broke down on the water and had to go through ignition all over again. I toss them now.

Your luck may differ.

Keep the laminates. Only the Chinese coils
are being manufactured now and the laminates
on them aren’t arced properly. They don’t fit
the flywheel.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Yep It makes me so angry when I have 1/3 basket of groceries and the person in front of me has groceries falling off the top with the most expensive food then they pull out the food stamp card, I don’t have anything against those that need it but for some it is a way of life.
