      I would like to raise this coil set up about an 1/8th inch for clearance. About the size of one of the lamination shims.
      It looks to have the room to do so but I was just checking to see if I may be messing up.
      I guess the other alternative would be to modify the mag plate somewhat.

        I don’t see why it wouldn’t work as long as they don’t hit the flywheel.
