      Seen this on EBay. Was this outboard made by another company?
      1940’s? I never heard of one.

        I believe this is the motor that started in the late 40s as the Milburn Cub.

        Continental bought it in the mid 50s. The model there may be the Commando.

        There is quite the lengthy write up about it in the Old Outboard Book if you have one? Interesting read for sure.

          Thanks for the reply Chris. I gave my outboard bible to my uncle.
          I need to get a new one! I presume this outboard is somewhat
          "rare" as stated?

            Rare, sort of. I’d classify it as uncommon. Keep in mind, rare does not always mean valuable.

              Peter Hunn wrote an article in the Outboarder a couple issues back.
              I believe He collects them.
