      What did the dash plate look like for the 56 Lark? I have an Evinrude plate but it’s blue.  Maybe they didn’t make a color match one for the Lark?

          Dave I don’t know but some people think they are made outa gold!   Did they build the lark in “56?   I don’t think I have ever seen one, lots of 57!

            Yes, Dale, 56 was the first year of the Lark series.  30hp.

              Well there I go!   Yup lark 56, it does not have the plug in electric wiring cable.  Good thing, have you checked the price on those connector cables used on the 57?   Holly Smit they are expensive!  It should be a good runner.

                They didn’t start using that chrome or stainless one until ‘57. Here’s what they used in ‘56.

                  Interesting!  The 56 Javelin was red, I wonder why they went to brown/gold and white in 57.   Very desirable old motors.
