I am trying to clean up a 1941 Johnson MS-15 (little single cylinder engine). I have never removed a power head or lower unit and was hoping to remove one or the other on this motor to get at other parts. But I don’t see a way to do it. Flywheel, back cover & mag plate are off the top; prop, gears and water pump are off the bottom. There is a clamp bolt on the lower unit–I’ve removed that, too. If anyone knows the next step, I’d appreciate your help. Thanks!
